Josephine's Journey on

“After an arduous 13 year infertility journey, we created our modern day family of 5 children via non-traditional methods.”

My name is Josephine Atluri and I am a meditation coach, infertility advocate and writer and host of the podcast, “Responding to LIfe.” I am also the mother to five children that came into our lives via international adoption, IVF, and surrogacy. I feel compelled to share my birth story because our unique path to parenthood involved non-traditional methods to create our unique family that is bound together by love. Our story began with an illness my husband had in his early twenties that led to male factor infertility. Once we were ready to have children, we had to go straight into IVF/ICSI. We tried multiple cycles for two years that proved unsuccessful and eventually switched to a new facility. After this switch, we finally became pregnant with twins only to lose them at 17 weeks.
